At the Okayama airport and behind is an airplane we were about to get on!

We flew with ANA. 

I was a little bored and was looking around, then I found,,,

It is always fun to see clouds below us. 

I kill most of time on a plane by reading magazines. How do you spend your time?

When I first arrived at Hokkaido, I bought a can of coffee but this was the worst drink I have ever had!

This is Otaru - an hour drive from Sapporo. It is famous for its beautiful glassworks and is best to visit at night because it is,

Some lovely glassworks, then a shop assistant behind came to me and warned me, "No picture, PLEASE".  

It was very hard to choose what to eat. 

The first dinner in Hokkaido should be sushi! 

At the Sapporo clock tower - I look like a ghost, don't I?

One day we went to a "Asahiyama zoo". It is the most popular zoo in Japan!

Seals will entertain you by swimming through a water tunnel.

I wonder if they have ever tried escaping from the zoo...

In Japan, traffic lights are usually horizontal and I find it very interesting that they are in vertical line! I guess this is because of so much snow in winter. 

You can see many lovely flowers everywhere in Hokkaido.

Hmm,,,, yum yum. Hokkaido melon was so delicious! 

Hokkaido has such beautiful nature.

明日からの北海道でストレス発散 ! ッ!! できますようにーーー。

Many people at my work go abroad on business and I often receive souvenirs, such as local sweets, from them. It is fun to have things from various countries and today, Yamashita san who just came back to Japan gave me sweets from Thailand!

It is dried banana and looks … not very good (sorry Yamashita san! The package is cute, though!), and tasted… interesting…never tasted like this before and... it is very smelly! (I am really sorry, Yamashita san). Hmm… I wonder if this is popular in Thailand or not.

There was my brother's very first boxing match today. He took up boxing just a few years ago when he was in his late twenties. I enjoy watching boxing and have watched some professional live games. I was excited to see his match and also very nervous! His wife, Hiro, must have been much more nervous than I was. Unfortunately, he lost the game... but I think it is great that he has something that he can enjoy and get into it so much. Better luck next time, brother!

友達のクレイトンと世界戦を見に行ったとき。 

I am going to Hokkaido in 7 days, yay!! This will be my first time to visit there and will be the northernmost tip of Japan I will have been to! I bought many books and am spending lots of time to collect information on the places. I think that one of the most exciting time of a trip is when making plans!! Can't wait!
