Born in Okayama, Japan. Spent four years in U.K. I enjoy meeting people and doing new things! I also like travelling and want to have friends from all over the world!
Hajimemashite Miwa-san, I did a blog search for Koya-san and stumbled across your blog. I liked what you had to say about Koya-san and I enjoyed your photos. I am from the state of New Jersey in the United States, but I lived in Chiba-ken for three years. I was en English teacher in a junior high school, but one of the main reasons I went to Japan was to learn more about Japanese religions. I have been to Koya-san several times, and also am walking the Hachi-ju-hachi-ka-shou meguri. I have walked to Temple 30 in Kochi-ken and hope to finish the Shikoku meguri in 2006. Anyway, if you get a chance, I invite you to visit my Web site, www.sliceofjapan.com. Maybe you will find it interesting to view Japan from a foreigner's perspective.
